When you first decide to play for real money at an online poker room, you want to make sure that you get the most out of your initial deposit with them. Comparing and contrasting your deposit bonus options can help you find a poker site that suits your style of play and bankroll size. For instance, UltimateBet offers a larger bonus than most, but it requires a set number of hands to be played before you receive it, which is ideal for the longer-term player who’s interested in building a good foundation instead of playing at a poker room that gives you a smaller bonus up-front.
Short-term bonuses can often mean short-term poker careers. By offering players the money up front, poker rooms create players who become more interested in winning than playing good poker, treating the game like any other casino game instead of the game of skill that the game truly is. You’ll frequently see the smaller poker rooms offering these short-term, lower-risk codes to entice new players to boost their numbers, but not offer the variety in game types that UltimateBet or its peers do. This forces inexperienced players into larger-stakes games than they should handle, and they soon find themselves disenchanted with the game.
UltimateBet offers more games at a larger range of buy-ins and stakes than other online poker rooms, giving you the chance to take advantage of your initial poker deposit bonus, even if you stick with small-stakes games and pay infrequently. The online poker room matches your deposit with 111% of the poker room’s own funds, meaning you can get up to $1100 in bonus money, just for signing up and depositing funds with them. In addition to the initial deposit bonus, UltimateBet opens up reload bonuses to its players on a regular basis, giving you the chance to get more money for further deposits made.
Sign-up bonuses are just the beginning at UltimateBet — the poker room offers top-notch customer support, state-of-the-art poker software, and gives players the flexibility they need to play the game they love just the way they like.

Recently, I decided to spread my wings. I’ve been a committed poker player for many years. I play other traditional card games to, like blackjack, but that’s what I’ve stuck to. Lately, though, I decided I wanted to change it up. I wasn’t comfortable doing that at the casino, so I logged into my online casino to see what non-traditional casino games they offered. Turns out, a lot.
Every type of arcade game and other games I don’t know how to classify was available. I could even bet on horse races and sports games. So, after searching a bunch of the casino games, I found the one I was looking for; Keno. I’ve always been a big bingo fan, so I figured Keno might be a lot of fun. It was, and I even made a bit of money off of it. Now, I’m not saying that I gave up poker for bingo. But, every once and awhile it’s nice to change it up and have some fun.
There’s tons of games available online that you wouldn’t think of as casino games. You should check your online casino to see what’s available. I haven’t tried out the arcade games yet, but I think I will do that next. I wish they had these when I was in college and playing video games. It would have been nice to have been able to make some money off of them!
Anyways, online casinos offer so many casino games, you should find something that appeals to you. If my experience says anything, you’ll enjoy shaking things up.

If your new to backgammon and consider playing competitively, the first thing you should do is become comfortable with a fast and slow paced backgammon strategy. Generally a fast paced strategy is referred to as a running game and a slow paced strategy is referred to as a priming game.
The reason for this is because, no matter what style you want to play, you’ll be faced many games with the necessity to play your opponents game. For example, a running strategy is a great way to overpower your opponent and quickly route them before they get into a rhythm. However, even if you have a great fast paced backgammon strategy, you could run into problems. If you’re playing another fast player or a slow one, you could find a checker hit or a crucial point blocked. If you slow down you need to have a strong priming game in order to not be overwhelmed by a fast player or picked apart by a priming player.
Backgammon is a game of strategy, even the dice roll is not all luck; so winning requires a player with well rounded backgammon strategies. If you want to learn then read up and play. The only way to own strategies is to play many people. Luckily internet backgammon sites offer free play along with their real money play. A trip to the casino has always been an exciting get away for me. A great way to get away from work, the kids and just have some fun playing my favorite casino games. However, it can also be a real endeavor since the nearest casino to my house is not that near. So, I was only able to make the trip once a month at most. Of course, I want to play my casino games more than that, which is why I love casino gambling online.
Since I can log on at any time of the day from home, it obviously allows me to get around the whole travel thing. But, what I wasn’t expecting was how real of a casino gambling experience you can get online.
Online casinos offer amazing graphics and every casino game you can think of. There is also a great community of online gamblers. Thousands of people log on from all over the world at any time. This not only offers amazing competition, but also a very helpful resource to learn new skills and strategy. A lot of times I get so into the games, the graphics, and the players, that I feel like I’m sitting in a real casino.
Casino gambling online is certainly not something to underestimate. You’ll be amazed at what a real and fun casino experience you’ll find. And with the money you’ll save playing from home, you might just find that casino gambling online will leave your wallet a lot fatter than a trip to the land casinos.

That is both true and false. Playing Blackjack is a matter of luck, but within that there are tactics to be considered. For those of you lulled into thinking it’s all about gambling on getting as close to, if not actually getting 21, then think again.
Blackjack is the classic online casino game – it’s quick and the chance to make money from it is great. Sometimes you get great offers – suggesting that you play a free online game – that was how I got started with my Blackjack career online. Not everything fell into place at once, taking time for me to build up the skills and the confidence to start winning.
As with all things online casino, there is a great deal of friendship to be had with other contestants and in Blackjack chat rooms. Don’t be afraid to converse with your opponents, they’re really helpful and you just don’t get the same kind of nervousness that you might get when you’re actually sitting across from someone at a Blackjack table. Usually people are only too happy to help.

Tom McEvoy and Brad Daugherty, the co-authors of Win Your Way into Big Money Hold’em Tournaments: How to Beat Casino and Online Satellite Poker Tournament (the Championship, are both world renowned poker players that have played in World Championship games and are winners of many big league tournaments. As a beginner player of casino games, this book has a lot to offer but for more advanced players of Hold’em, this may not be the best book. It is fair to say that any advanced casino player does still have something to learn from this book, but for the most part this book is amazing for those just getting into casino games and specifically Texas Hold’em.
The book not only gives a crash course on how to play the world’s most popular poker game, but gives them a start on joining the world’s most elite no-limit Hold’em tournament winners and cash game players. They give advice on how to bet; in the book is a no-limit Hold’em betting chart that can be used to decide how much to bet while throughout you begin to learn when you should and shouldn’t continue betting. Another positive aspect of the book is that they foresee possible mistakes anyone can make to help you be aware of them.
The greatest aspect of the book, I believe, are the tons of strategies provided, which give any new casino game player a basis of understanding betting and general casino strategy that extends beyond just the Hold’em game.

Most people’s first experience with board games occurs when as little kids they are introduced to Chess and Checkers. Well, Perhaps I am an exception to the rule since I was exposed to Backgammon at the tender age of 5. For obvious reasons, I never showed too much excitement for the other two games after that. This being said, I think I can openly declare that this Chess Checkers vs. Backgammon article is biased towards the greatest of all board games: Backgammon.
No doubts about it: Backgammon is the Master of the domain. If well it is true that Chess and Checkers are excellent games to develop ones analytical and tactical skills, they are somewhat lacking the element of fun by not presenting the opportunity for chance to challenge us along side with our opponent. When I play Chess and Checkers I feel like I am just going through the motions playing what my brain sees as an automatic calculation of probabilities against my opponent’s moves. In short, it feels as if I am performing a mathematical exercise.
On the contrary, Backgammon makes me feel alive, makes me fell like I am dealing with life itself since it presents me with completely random situations that I have to consider and rearrange if I want to succeed. In a few words, Backgammon is a dynamic game, smart and fun, ALIVE! The beauty of Backgammon relies precisely on that, the struggle for victory (survival) against an opponent with the element of the unknown dictating how far can you go. I think that is a lot more appealing than just calculating, is it not? Chess Checkers vs. Backgammon, what is your verdict?
